The next Wood Residuals Summit to accelerate commercialization of lower valued wood materials will be May 18-20, 2027 in Grand Rapids, MI.
The Michigan Forest Biomaterials Institute (MIFBI) has confirmed the second Wood Residuals Summit will be May 18 - 20, 2027 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The event is focused on accelerating commercialization of wood residuals such as saw dust, bark, wood chips, in woods slash, and urban wood.
Developing new markets requires expanding networks, identifying novel technologies, and creating new collaborations and value chains. MIFBI leverages their global connections to build an event with diverse geographic and sector representation including numerous states and countries, as well as the breadth of the forestry industry and downstream markets including biofuel, chemical, furniture, automotive, energy and other sectors.
