Julie Manley

Julie Manley is Principal and Owner of Guiding Green LLC, a Sanford, Michigan based consulting firm focused on meeting business needs by designing for sustainability. She builds on 20+ years of industry and consulting experience to help integrate sustainable solutions into the market through program management, strategic alliance building, and technical services with an emphasis on green chemistry. Her consulting experience spans a wide spectrum of products and industries including chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical development, formulated consumer products, coatings and adhesives, flooring, and oil & gas. Prior to Guiding Green LLC, Julie held various positions at Abbott Laboratories in the manufacturing and environmental, health & safety organizations concentrating on manufacturing optimization, EHS regulatory compliance, and global environmental performance improvement. Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Science from the University of Michigan. She also holds professional accreditations as a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and LEED AP O+M. Julie is currently on the Board of the Michigan Chapter of the Association of Hazardous Materials Professionals as well as the Midland County 4-H Council.
